To: N7YLA - Both LDSHAMS & WW-MARA are both up and running - We had Nevada Power put in new digital meters (Not my idea) - and it whacked LDSMAMS - which had been running for almost a year 320+ days straight w/o a hitch.  BTW - CQICC is also mine - It is up - but I cant access it - Im checking into

The LDSHAMS Echolink node appears to be offline.  When will it be back online?

HAM TV activity?
« on: January 04, 2008, 08:01:57 AM »
Just curious - Do any of the members of this group operate fast scan HAM TV?

If not, I have an ATV primer - ATV 101 - available via email.

PS - Always remember: hams should be SEEN as well as heard.

Hello Bil!

Welcome to the site. We've not had anyone on the site yet talk about ATV.

I can certainly see the benefit of being able to capture ATV, especially in an emergency!

I would like to learn more about it, I see you have a lot of information on the AzRepeaters.net website.

I will read up on it. Hopefully others will be interested as well.

Thanks for the offer!!!

WB7SGL, Rob

Hey Bil,
I have worked with ATV once before. It was part of a local operation our ARES group did as part of an Emergancy response exercise with the health department. It was really cool. We had live TV streaming from I think 5 different emergancy response sites all streaming to the control center so they could see what was happening. I would love to get your primer book so I can get better at ATV. Please send.
